tbd/con update #1: review crew, May 31 deadline

We're four journalists and technologists who want to have some great interdisciplinary conversations on AI with likeminded people who appreciate nuance, complexity, and figuring things out.

The premise is that AI isn't arriving cleanly and the conversations about it shouldn't be either. We think the future is to be determined, to be dreaded and to be dreamed.

We're not sponsored or paid by anyone, and we're so grateful for your interest.

Where we are now: assembling the review crew to select pitches for the conversations. Applications close May 31. If you haven't already, please apply! If you're worried you're not credentialed enough, apply anyway.

The ask: We need help reviewing sessions from July-August, and we'd love for you to be on our review crew. We'll have a kickoff sync June 17, you get credit on the program in exchange. That's it.

• If you've pitched joining the crew: you'll hear from us by June 10.
• If you've pitched a session: reviews start in July, you'll hear back in August.
• If you haven't yet pitched a session and want to: same link, the form is open.
• If you just want to be part of the conference, you'll get all the details from us in September. We're so grateful that you'll join us.
